ERP Systems

ERP projects rarely fail on software. They fail because a process was automated before anyone agreed what the process was, because the data migrated dirty, or because nobody trained the store keeper who now has to use it every morning. We spend most of our time on those three things.

Scope of work

What is included.

For manufacturers, distributors, retailers and service businesses running the company on spreadsheets, or on an ERP they have grown out of.

  • Selection and fit assessmentRequirement mapping across your departments and an honest comparison of options against them — including the option of not replacing what you have.
  • ImplementationChart of accounts, warehouses, tax configuration, approval workflows, user roles and reporting, configured against your documented processes.
  • Data migrationExtraction, cleansing, deduplication and validated import of masters and opening balances, reconciled against your existing books before go-live.
  • Custom developmentModules, reports and workflow extensions where the standard product genuinely does not fit — kept minimal so upgrades stay possible.
  • IntegrationConnections to banking, e-commerce, payment gateways, courier and logistics APIs, FBR digital invoicing, point of sale and existing line-of-business systems.
  • Training and supportRole-based training in English and Urdu, floor-walking through the first month-end, and ongoing functional support afterwards.
Engagement sequence

Four phases, in this order.

The order matters more than the speed. Every phase has an exit condition you sign off before the next one starts.

Map the process

Workshops per department to document how work actually flows today, including the workarounds. This is where the value is decided.

Configure and prototype

A working environment with your real data, so users react to something concrete rather than to a specification document.

Migrate and validate

Parallel running for one full cycle. Reports from the new system are reconciled against the old before anything is switched off.

Go live and stabilize

Cutover with on-site support, then intensive support through the first month-end close and a phase-two backlog for what comes next.

Vendor position

We hold no exclusive reseller obligations. Recommendations are made on fit, your team's capacity to operate the thing, and local support availability — in that order.

Questions

ERP Systems, specifically.

Should we choose open source or a licensed product?

Open-source platforms like Odoo and ERPNext remove license cost and suit organizations willing to invest in configuration and support. Licensed products bring vendor accountability and deeper local partner ecosystems in finance and manufacturing. We assess against your team's capacity to own the system, not against our preference.

How long does an implementation take?

A focused finance and inventory scope for a single company is typically eight to fourteen weeks. Multi-company, manufacturing or heavy customization runs four to nine months. Anyone promising two weeks has not looked at your data yet.

Can you take over an implementation someone else started?

Frequently. We begin with an audit of the configuration and data state so you know exactly what can be salvaged and what needs rebuilding, before committing to a plan.
